John Myatt is my “favorite” forger.  I remember after studying about him, my concept of forgery changed, a huge debate inside me was formed, and I was forever converted.

His incredible ability to imitate the grand masters’ styles is unique and compelling; however, what had won me over was his masterly way to describe painters, their techniques, and their pieces. With his passion he delights our ears and pleasures our hearts.
